Montgomeryshire Youth Music (MYM) exists to provide young musicians with positive experiences of playing together.  It does this by offering regular rehearsals with professional music tutors and opportunities for performing to public audiences.  We also promote youth music among the wider public.

MYM is the registered charity (no. 1042425) that manages and funds the music groups that operate under the same name. 

MYM groups rehearse in Welshpool High School on most Fridays during term time.  The tutors and the other musicians are all really friendly and welcoming.  We have groups for all levels beyond complete beginners.
