The music groups are a great outlet for students who have lessons already on their instruments, helping them to develop their ensemble skills, gain new experiences and meet new like-minded young people.

Entry Requirements

Members must have a basic working knowledge of reading music for their instrument(s), and be of the ability to play along with the group. We are very accommodating to young musicians that have been having regular lessons with a tutor. Please Contact Us to discuss further.

There is no minimum age requirement, but to give you an idea; the youngest pupils we have had join were in Year 3 and had been playing from a very young age. There is a range of ages including primary school and high school ages, as well as those in college and university. Players over the age of 21 are also welcome to attend as adult volunteers. Please contact us for more info.
